Our University Venture Scout Program is one of our most valuable resources, as it partners with over 50 participating ecosystems, including top-tier universities, to identify and nurture promising startups.

Additionally, our Lightning Round Pitch Competition is a popular platform that allows startups to showcase their ideas to investors and industry experts, and potentially secure funding.

Lastly, we leverage the Sparkxyz ecosystem to gain access to ten of thousands of startups.

By utilizing these three main channels, we are able to source startups from a diverse range of industries and geographies (performing geographic arbitrage), and carefully select the most promising companies to join our portfolio.

Our extensive and multifaceted approach enables us to maintain a highly selective acceptance rate and build a portfolio of high-potential startups with a proven track record of success.

Selection

At Pegasus Angel Accelerator, we take pride in our rigorous and thorough startup selection process, which involves four distinct stages to identify the most promising startups.

With over 1500 applicants vying for a spot in our program, our multi-stage approach ensures that we only select the top 7-10 portfolio companies.

Our process begins with a preliminary screening, followed by an in-depth review of the applications, which is then followed by interviews and pitches from the shortlisted companies. Finally, our selection committee evaluates each startup holistically to identify the ones that align best with our investment strategy and have the greatest potential for growth.

This stringent process results in a less than 1% acceptance rate, which reflects our commitment to identifying the most promising startups and helping them achieve their full potential through our accelerator program.
